I've toyed with Blender several times in the past, but failed to really get good traction with it. The problem domain which Blender work with is so complicated and has such a broad scope that it's easy for the beginner to to find the experience bewildering. However, the new ten part Blender beginner tutorial from Blender Guru (Andrew Price) has changed that.

This tutorial series has excellent pace, striking a good balance between keeping things simple and touching enough features that it doesn't seem dumbed-down. After following these videos, I feel that I have enough of a foot hold to start exploring the software for myself.

Thanks Andrew!
